Main research areas
Investigation of layered perovskite-like oxides; study of kinetics and mechanisms of solid-phase reactions; study of photocatalytic processes and development of photocatalysts; development of nanostructured inorganic and hybrid organic-inorganic materials.
The group has the experience of synthesis of solid-phase materials (ceramic, hydrothermal, sol-gel and other methods), study of composition and structure of crystalline samples (X-ray analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, IR spectrometry, thermal methods of analysis, etc.), measurement of physical and physico-chemical characteristics of materials (photocatalytic activity, magnetic and electrical properties, surface area, bandgap energy, etc.).
